Blake Winston Rice was born on November 16, 1989 in Vorhees, New Jersey, and was raised in Moorestown New Jersey.
One of four siblings (Porter, Bailey, Dean Rice), parents Harry and Victoria Rice - Blake began acting at a summer camp at the age of 12. Beginning amateur and student filmmaking at Moorestown High school, then DeSales University and then receiving a Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Film Television/Film at Rowan University in 2012 where he created the Telly Award-winning sketch comedy show "Socially Awkward".
Beginning as an actor/model in commercials - transitioning to Television and Film after college, Blake has also been performing Stand Up Comedy - headlining such venues as The Broadway Comedy Club, Triad Theater, Metropolitan Room and Hard Rock Café. Now represented by TAKE 3 TALENT, you can see Blake on the screen as "Josh McCockan" in the 2019 series, Entitled (RPS Productions).
In addition to becoming a Co-host of the Cold Read Podcast, Blake's official directorial and screenwriter debut was in the short dramatic piece entitled To Whom it May Concern (2016), and forwarding his portfolio by winning Best Director (NYCIFF 2019) for the melodrama People Like You (2018). Both films recently acquired by ShortsTV, and airing on DirectTV Channels.
Blake continues his directorial career via the fantasy comedy The Creeper's Curse (2019), Horror film The Recovery Call (2020), Comedy Pilot Big Dumb Theory (2020), and Feature Film, The Girl Who Ventured West, A johnny Appleseed Story (2021).
